WHY SUCH AREA:
• Naxal hit
• Elephant hit
• Most underdeveloped areas
• Tribal population, lot of unutilized land best for medicinal plants.

WHY THE DOMAIN:
1) The ayurvedic / alternate medicine industry in India is not able to compete with traditional Chinese medicine because of lack of standardized and quality raw material, herbs.
2) Farmers are poor because of lack of cash crop, the food crops don’t pay much.
3) Huge tract of lands remain unutilized due to lack of knowledge and proper marketing support, resulting in migration.
4) The medicinal plants is having huge cash market,
5) Non perishable, so distress sale situation doesn’t arise.

METHOD:

Provide training in medicinal plant cultivation and Vriksha Ayurveda, provide seeds / planting materials, buy back produce at market price.
