Proud to declare that I head a carbon positive family.
I harvest more rain water then we consume as a family of 30 people ( staff included)
Average per capita per day consumption is 135 ltr as per indiawater portal
Let's calculate it at 300 ltrs per day per person.
So for 30 people it's 9000 ltrs per day
Yearly 32.85 lac ltrs say 33 lac ltrs.
Engineers says 1 meter cube can harvest 1000 ltrs
So I need to harvest 3300 meter cube of water per year.
Even if 1ft of water evaporates every year I am harvesting more then what I am consuming
Now I need to know few things
1) how much water evaporates per year in coastal area
2) How much oxygen a person consumes per day
3) How to calculate how much oxygen is released by trees and sugarcane
4) what's the carbon emission of vehicles per KM
5) how much carbon one creates when he travels by flight.
Can anyone help?
I want to calculate the oxygen generated vs carbon produce ratio, for records I have 70 trees, plants not counted, I assume I generate more oxygen then what I consume and convert more carbon then what we generate.
Just want to check whether I am giving back more to the planet or not ?
